ALLOY C22

Alloy C22 resists both reducing and oxidizing acids. In some tests, it shows superior pitting resistance to Alloy C276 and Alloy 625. Alloy C22 is used in furnace scrubbers and phosphoric acid production. We have experienced little demand for Alloy C22 fasteners. Consequently, the quantities of hex bolts and hex nuts available from stock are not large. In many cases, Alloy C276 will work as a substitute.
