Alloy 330 resists oxidation up to 2100º F (1150º C).
The high silicon content promotes resistance to carburization.
Fasteners are used in environments with frequent thermal cycling, such as heat exchangers, gas turbines, radiant tubes, salt pots, and perlite processing.
